Welkom bij Spotr ("wij", "ons" of "onze"). Wij respecteren de privacy van onze gebruikers ("gebruiker" of "jij") en doen er alles aan om je persoonlijke gegevens te beschermen. Dit privacybeleid legt uit hoe wij informatie verzamelen, gebruiken, openbaar maken en beschermen wanneer je onze mobiele applicatie Spotr: Restaurant Finder gebruikt.

1. Welke gegevens verzamelen wij? Voor een optimale werking van de app verzamelen wij de volgende categorieën gegevens: • Account- en Profielgegevens: Bij het registreren verzamelen we je e-mailadres, gebruikersnaam, volledige naam en optionele profielinformatie (zoals bio, favoriete keuken en favoriete restaurants). Bij inloggen via derden (zoals Google of Apple Sign-In) ontvangen wij de noodzakelijke authenticatiegegevens. Ook verzamelen we je profielfoto, welke als gecomprimeerde data wordt geüpload.
• Locatiegegevens: Indien je hiervoor expliciet toestemming geeft, verzamelt Spotr locatiegegevens voor geofencing-notificaties. Wanneer je een plek opslaat op de kaart, genereren wij een unieke locatiesleutel op basis van de exacte breedte- en lengtegraad.
• Gebruikersinhoud (User Generated Content): Reviews (inclusief optioneel geüploade foto's), beoordelingen, favorieten, verlanglijstjes en sociale interacties (zoals volgers, gevolgde accounts en likes).
• Apparaat- en Notificatiegegevens: Om pushnotificaties te kunnen sturen (via Firebase Cloud Messaging en Apple APNs) verzamelen wij een unieke token (fcmToken) van jouw apparaat, welke direct aan jouw gebruikersdocument in onze database wordt gekoppeld.

2. Hoe gebruiken wij jouw gegevens? Wij gebruiken de verzamelde gegevens voor de volgende doeleinden: • Het aanbieden, beheren en onderhouden van de Spotr-app. • Het koppelen van jouw account aan je vrienden via een volgsysteem en vriendenfeed.
• Het tonen van gepersonaliseerde aanbevelingen op de kaart. • Het verzenden van in-app en pushnotificaties bij sociale acties (likes, volgverzoeken).
• Het beveiligen van onze diensten en het voorkomen van fraude.

3. Delen van gegevens en Derde Partijen Spotr verkoopt nooit jouw persoonlijke gegevens aan derden. Gegevens worden uitsluitend gedeeld met vertrouwde infrastructuren die noodzakelijk zijn voor de werking van de app: • Google Firebase: Voor veilige opslag van database-gegevens (Firestore), het opslaan van geüploade profiel- en reviewfoto's (Firebase Storage), gebruikersauthenticatie (Firebase Auth) en het verzenden van notificaties (Firebase Messaging). Databaselocaties zijn gehost volgens Europese privacyrichtlijnen.
• Apple Push Notification service (APNs): Voor de technische aflevering van pushnotificaties op iOS-apparaten.

4. Zichtbaarheid, Database Regels & Beveiliging Spotr is een sociaal netwerk. Onze database is strikt beveiligd om jouw data te beschermen: • Openbare leesbaarheid: Profielinformatie en reviews kunnen door andere gebruikers worden gelezen; dit is noodzakelijk om gebruikers te kunnen zoeken en de vriendenfeed te kunnen tonen.
• Schrijfrechten: Je kunt uitsluitend je eigen profiel en je eigen reviews aanmaken, wijzigen of verwijderen.
• Sociale acties: Andere ingelogde gebruikers kunnen slechts beperkte velden op jouw document bijwerken (bijvoorbeeld het toevoegen van een "like" aan jouw review of het sturen van een volgverzoek).
• Privé notificaties: Jouw in-app notificaties zijn strikt privé en uitsluitend door jou in te zien, te markeren als gelezen of te verwijderen.

5. Bewaren en Beveiligen van Gegevens Wij nemen passende technische en organisatorische maatregelen om jouw persoonsgegevens te beschermen tegen verlies, misbruik of ongeoorloofde toegang. Gegevens worden bewaard zolang jouw account actief is.

6. Jouw Rechten (AVG / GDPR) Je hebt recht op: • Inzage in de persoonsgegevens die wij van jou verwerken. • Correctie van onjuiste profielgegevens. • Verwijdering van je gegevens: Je kunt op elk gewenst moment verzoeken om volledige verwijdering van je account. Dit proces verwijdert jouw profiel direct permanent uit zowel onze database als ons authenticatiesysteem.
• Het intrekken van verleende toestemmingen (zoals locatietoegang en pushnotificaties) via de instellingen van je iPhone.

3. Data Sharing and Third Parties Spotr never sells your personal data to third parties. Data is shared exclusively with trusted infrastructure providers that are necessary for the app’s functionality: • Google Firebase: For secure database storage (Firestore), storage of uploaded profile and review photos (Firebase Storage), user authentication (Firebase Auth), and sending notifications (Firebase Messaging). Database servers are hosted in accordance with European privacy regulations.
• Apple Push Notification service (APNs): For the technical delivery of push notifications on iOS devices.

4. Visibility, Database Rules & Security Spotr is a social network. Our database is strictly secured to protect your data: • Public Readability: Profile information and reviews can be read by other users; this is required for user search functionality and populating the friends feed.
• Write Permissions: You can exclusively create, update, or delete your own profile and your own reviews.
• Social Actions: Other authenticated users can only update specific fields on your documents (for example, adding a "like" to your review or sending a follow request).
• Private Notifications: Your in-app notifications are strictly private and can only be read, marked as read, or deleted by you.

5. Data Retention and Security We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against loss, misuse, or unauthorized access. Data is retained for as long as your account remains active.

This process permanently deletes your profile from both our database and authentication system.
